K850i Auto Flash Problem

Hi there all, i recently joined this forum.

I have flashed my firmware to the newest western europe version. Originally it had Vodafone firmware.

Recently i have noticed when i have auto flash turned on i cannot take any pictures. It will not take them. It is definetly not the button or screen. I turn this feature off and i can then take a picture.

Also i was having a look about and tried discharging the flash through the service menu. Still after this no luck.

Do you think i may need to reflash to another version? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

hi pal well maybe you need vodafone software back on it not sure(vodafone phones just like vodafone itself can be really funny/orkward) but i have a k850i and wouldnt change it for the world so this needs sorting if you are to continue enjoying the phone so make sure you have the best software to suit the phone on it check through forums and sony ericsson website then apply the update again then i'd check all settings on the camera tools options then check what the settings on for the 'light' option in 'organiser' in the main menu - failing that get rid and get another !! never purchase a vodafone customised version of a phone !! i learnt the hard way when mp3's couldnt be used as ringtones so stay well clear believe me :D
