Hi, W810i Flashing Screen :S Help please?

I Just found my w810i after my brother said he "didnt have it" Found in one of his draws and tried charging it up, i turn it on and all i get is a white and black flashing screen, it seems like a very common problem. I tried software update, but it is allready up to date, so it did nothing.

Is there anything i can do?

It cant even get to the stage that the update wizard is available to me

I tried it again and the phone decided to connect! even without the drivers :)

so i tried flashing it and now the phone wont even turn on, no flashing screen, nothing. is the phone gone for good?
