HELP. C905 "Serious Error"

Hi there. I recently bought a C905 but didnt get insurance on it as it was 11.99 a month.
I have never had a problem with any phone before. But luck has it, i went and dropped this phone and made a small crack in the screen.

It was working fine for a week but then it stopped sending/recieving Phone Calls and sending/recieving text messages. And the battery started going down about 10% a minute.

Then when trying to charge the phone it gave me an error message of:

"serious error. stop charging. stop using your phone and contact a sony ericsson call center."

Could this be to do with the crack in my screen? And would that have something to do with my Phone call/messaging problem?

Any help would be much much appreciated and i look forward to a reply :)

I have had the same problem on the same phone just recently. Im not sure wether dropping your phone had anything to do with it however, on my phone it turned out the Charging IC was faulty and i had to send it off to sony to have it repaired. :mad: Luckily, my phone was still under warrenty.

I also tried buying a new battery as well as a charger but that also failed. It charged the battery fine the 1st time but reported the same error there after.
