W880i arriving tomorrow - Simple advise needed

Hi all,

I have a brand new SE W880i arriving tomorrow that is currently locked to o2 UK

My plans will be to upgrade to the latest firmware (if the current version is old) and to unlock the phone for all networks

My questions are...

Is there any particular order these should be performed? (i.e would unlocking and then upgrading firmware remove the unlock?)

Is it ok to use the original Sony Ericsson update tool to perform the firmware upgrade?

You need to know the CID of the phone first. Then we can help what you should do.
Seus is not recommended if you wish to unlock your phone. 'cause seus will update your cid to 53, which is difficult to unlock. Keep us inform, we will help you.
