w880 problem with unlocking

hi there i have a se w880 that has been giving me bother with unlocking it can anybody help i have debranded it i have put r8ba024 firmware on it with the qa patch so then i try putting the lock remover vkp on,it shows next to network the padlock is open,so then i put the simcard in and it comes up with configuration error message any help i would be greatful thanks.

I had this as well. Re-apply the MAIN and FS files again, that sorted it for me.
