How do I unlock my Sony Ericsson K800i?

I am living in Australia but had a contract with 02 in the UK.. that is now void and I am left with a good phone which I cannot use. Is it possible to unlock the codes to enable it to work as a pre pay phone with Telstra?
I do not want to have to chuck it out.. thanks

1 - Switch ON your Sony Ericsson K800i without any SIM Card,
2 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
3 - Press the button * twice,
4 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
5 - The message "Personalize with MNC2" will appear, (or you will have displayed an unlock menu, select the lock you want to unlock)
6 - Enter the Unlock Code.This is the procedures to unlock your mobile and you can get the unlock code from mobile unlocker

Hi Mate...

I have same phone and was on O2, I used FarManager with JDFlasher to unlock mine... I tried doing it with SETool but it wouldnt have none of it...

Worked a treat for me and I am now on Optus...
