    W580i LCD not operating

Hello, I took apart my mobile(W580i) in order to replace the housing as it had become damaged.

On putting it all back together again, the phone switches on and lights up (the side lights) but there is no life in the screen, can't do anything with it.

Any advice would be extremely welcome. Thank you in advance.

hello sunsilk, check your display connector which connects display with main pcb..

if you found any cracks in the display strip do change the display..

if u got WHITE screen after assembling,..probably you should change the display
    've a try..

    gud luck..

Ok, thanks, will check again. I have actually got my phone to start up, I can ring it and call out with it, obviously doing it blind with the screen being blacked out. Bearing in mind that I can ring it etc, do you think if I bought a new screen that would fix it? Would value your opinion.
