    Another k660 unlock ... sorry

Hi there, I have read all the threads relating to the unlocking of the K660i on 3 network via Aerix but I think I must be missing something.

I have managed to unlock the phone fine, in that it will accept a sim from another network and show the network name on the screen as well as being able to access contacts on the sim.

BUT I cant make or recieve calls from any of these sims, everytime I try to make a call I just get a beep noise then the phone just goes back to the main screen.

If I try to make a call to this phone I get an automated message saying this number is not avaliable the now.

The three sim still works ok.

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Thanks

    Mark

Am I missing something silly, ie do I need to flash any other files or use any other software?

    Cheers

Thanks very much for the debranding information as I was not aware that you could do this for free:o

I have de branded it and it now works a treat, no need to re unlock.

The phone also seems faster, now that the three software is off it:D:D:D

    Once again thank you.

unlock means you can use any simcard, if your phone is retail, you don't need to unlock

Thanks for the link.... I have already looked into it and followed the instructions....

Nothing happens after holding 2 and 5

Does the cell phone needs the sim card inside?

    Thanks!!!

power down phone, reinsert battery, press and hold 2 and 5 and then connect and then press unlock or press unlock and press and hold 2 and 5 while still holding, plug usb cable
