    I did register and activate my account, and the user credentials has been saved at the "settings" dialog.

    Just tried to do the unlock @ work, and strangely, it worked. It seems that the issue was with my ISP.

    By the way, discovered that after unlocking w/ branded software, the phone locked again after unbranding - seems like the unbranding "erased" the flash unlock. Unlocked yet again using Aerix - worked like a charm.
