w880i keypad not quite right :P

Hi guys, I just recently flashed my w880i and it works like a dream!
I found out though that the green and red call buttons are now shortcuts for menus.
Everything else is correct, but that last thing isnt right.
I found out why of course, I flashed it with a w880 firmware, and i have a w880i phone, they are almost the same, but a little different :P
I've searched the net for w880i firmware, but can't find anything. The only choice I have is the newest w880 firmware. and it's the best so far.

So the question remains: Does anyone have w880i firmware (not w880)

is there a quick fix to this issue?

as i said, it's just the take/cancel call buttons that arent working :)

This is because you debranded your phone! GENERIC firmware is like that (with shortcuts and not end-receive) so the keypad is right the firmware was not intended for your phone!

this isn't an issue, those function changes as they are generic firmware and your previous firmware is a branded one, so the function differ from branded to generic

Re: w880i keypad not quite right :P

    well shit happens eh? :)
I tested the phone, everything works fine. I also did a search on the internet on the sony ericsson w880i and I couldn't find any phone that had the make and end call buttons that my w880i from vodafone has so that kinda sucks.
But hey, thats a luxury problem eh?
And I know that the firmware differs from the phone, but this was the only way to remove the simlock.
So I actually know WHY I have this problem of mine, I'm just asking, is there a way to fix this. Please stick to the questions...

You can seek (google) a patch for W880i (if there is any) that changes the functionality of these keys. Kinda difficult to find, but you never know!
