YouTube - My W580i

I'd like to know how to customize some of those elves found in the video, specially the IFMD and the Desktop Elves.
The bars of my ifmd look plain and pixelated, how can I remove them to have just text like in the vid?. Also, all the Desktop elfs I find consist of icons in the main screen, not a search bar like that.
How can I customize them like that, or where can I find them?
