Unlock K770i

Hi, ive just got a k770i on vodaphone and wish to debrand and unlock it and use it on the o2 network. Im really not entirely sure how i go about it, and despite searching this great site i havnt really found a simple beginners guide. Ive downloaded Xs++ and have it running now...just want to know what to do now!

If a patch unlock (think its called that) is not possible, i think i can pay for a code on ebay. But still wish to debrand if possible.

first can you can you connect your phone with xs++? if you cant then you're going need to download the usb drivers which can be obtained from sony ericsson update service (the offical website). if you can then can you show me the log when you connect your phone to xs++?

You can`t unlock your phone with free tools , only against payment ( CID 53 ).
But you can debrand your phone with JDFlasher.

OK, but is it ok to debrand and then still get and use a unlock code based on the IMEI?

Why not ? ;)

You can flash a brandingfree Firmware with the JD Flasher :) And then the branding is away.

But to unlock your phone with a patch is at the moment not possible for free :(

Where do i get the JD flasher and firmware from?

Oh and i know the firmwares available on this site in the download section but im not sure which one to use as theres about 5 europe ones (are they all the same?)

The difference is in the language. The most Firmwares convert english ;)
