K608i 'insert sim' & 'low battery' error

Hi,

I hope someone out here could help to guide me.
As stated in the title, my K608 currently either show 'insert sim' or 'low battery' whenever i switch on my phone. I tried charging it, but no to avail.

"It started when my phone's alarm went off and it fell into a pail of water"

I took it out, switch off and dismantle it. Dry it and left it for a day, assemble it back...my nightmares started.

I downloaded the schematics but without any service manuals or guides, I don't know where should I start to troubleshoot it.

Hope someone could help me in this.

there might be a problem with the BSI in the battery connector, the middle pin for battery, try different working battery and post the result, if same probem, i think non of us can help you coz its a hardware fault. the only way is to give it to a mobile repair shop to check all the hardware or the fault
