W550 No power after screen replacement

Hi guys,

I have just fitted a new screen to my w550 and reassembled the phone but it won't power up now, nothing happens when i connect a charger either,, it worked except for smashed lcd before i changed lcd, setool still see's it ok, though.

Any idea's??

thery have 2 lots off ribbons (wires) one has a yellow dot and on the pcb it has a gold dot on one off the cips make sure u put the right one on

check u r disply strip...if it is not connected properly,it leads to short and u r battery power is grounded..in this case u r mobile will not power on..
and in u r case(550)on -off switch is supported with this display strip..
