Angry 910 "broken key" problem driving me nuts.

This is the 2nd time my phone has had this problem of certain keys suddenly not working. The first time it was certain letter keys that went, but luckily it was at that time under warranty.

Now it's the "C" key (the one beneath the red phone icon button) and Dial key (the green phone icon key). So if I make a mistake while texting I can't go back and delete it. Likewise I can't make phone calls from my phone book.

Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening? And more importantly, if there's anything I can do do resolve it myself? I haven't done anything to the phone that could have suddenly caused this to happen.

I read in one thread here about the master rest resolving a similar problem. The only thing on my phone that I'd like to keep if possible is some of the messages. Can these be saved somehow onto a pc? If not, I'd sooner just wipe everything if it means getting the phone working properly.

Many thanks for any help anyone could offer.
    Cheers

heloo roadends... the problem is with your mobile hardware..
if you can dissasemble the top sliding portion of u r mobile..then proceeed wit this..
open up the top panel and you will get your keypad section..
now just peel off the white sticker from the keypad pcb carefully and locate u r key(c * dial)...its easy in w910..
clean the copper contacts under the key tensions wit an eraser and clean it..and stick back the section with the pcb..

Now u r key works 100%successfully(4m my wrk exp)..

if not do change that keypad section.
