w850i Unlock and Chinese Support

I have a w850i locked to Orange in the UK and I currently live in China and want to be able to use my phone here and enable Chinese language support on my phone. I have SEtool2 (1.1) and have read the instructions. My phone configuration is as below:

There are too Orange FS files by the way:

W850_R1JC002_FS_ORANGE_CH_RED52 < does CH refer to Chinese language support?
W850_R1JC002_FS_ORANGE_GEN_RED52 < does GEN refer to general language support?

I guess I don't have to use the Orange ones either as long as the MAIN and FS correspond? I do need a Chinese FS file for my phone though...

Also my downloads from here cut out after about 1Mb if they get that far :( maybe because of the site or firewall in China, I can't be sure, although it's still rubbish with my proxy on. So even if I know what files to get I can't download them :(

Any help in:

1. Getting the files
2. Getting my phone unlocked
3. Getting it in Chinese

is greatly appreciated.

Bricked phone?

The process died half way through the flashing now I think my phone is dead, I backed up my GDFS file BUT I can only identify this much:

Then my phone drops off my computer as being recognised at all.

I can't switch it on, since half the firmware is missing, I presume in the process of being rewritten, but I'm putting it on charge again in case the battery has run out on it really quickly from the flashing procedure.

How do I get it back to normal and start the process again? Thanks again.

Ok, so the phone isn't bricked (I don't think), but it's not unlocked and when I put my old SIM card in (Orange) there's an operations error. The configuration as it stands is:

So it still has the Orange language pack, not Chinese and also it's still locked. Maybe I used an old version of SimLockPatchGen (2.1.0.0)
