Yah i tried a new battery. there is this other problem, When i connect the USB CABLE, THE comp says there has occurred a problem with installation of the drivers for the device, so it won't work properly. i don't know what to do. am stranded.

check the port wear u plug ur usb in at the bottom off ur is it clean

yes, and in addition to this. MAKE SURE, that the contact of your SEk310i (where you plug the cable) are also clean and very shiny.
