    Corrections to Language Descriptions

I was just playing around with some phones, and noticed that some of the entries in the language list are incorrect:

    DB 2000-DB2010

FS "CMCC" is shown as "English - Malay - Indonesian", it should be "English - Chinese simplified" - exactly the same as "CHINA". I suspect that it might be swapped with the "AsiaLatin1" just below it, but I don't know for sure.

    DB 2020

"HONG KONG" is misspelt :) and should be "English - Chinese traditional Hong Kong - Chinese Simplified"
"HUTCH_2" is missing -"English - Chinese traditional Hong Kong"

Does this file really contain both simplified and traditional Chinese? I am looking for a way to add both to my w480i.

    Re: Corrections to Language Descriptions

The K810i HK firmware has both simplified and traditional Chinese as display languages - although the input method seems only to operate in traditional Chinese - to make things even stranger, you can select stroke or pinyin input - and the pinyin is based on mandarin, rather than being jyutping or guangdonghua pinyin.

The Taiwan firmware has only traditional Chinese and uses stroke/bopomofo input.

Thanks trimesh for the explanation! I finally flashed my w580i to CHINA firmware. Now I have pinyin and stroke for input and simplified Chinese as display language. haven't checked whether it can display traditional Chinese songs yet.
