hi igot the same problem with my k810i ...anybody plzz helppp
This has worked for me many times repairing w580i camera's. Examples; (Green Screen, Fuzzy, another appication, close it and then start the camera etc., open phone, camera turns off when trying to take a picture and just not any picture when on.) If yours is held in the same way as a w580i then remove camera from socket carefully using a small flat tip jewelers screwdriver. Its held in on each corner by two each tabs. Insert flat tip down into each side to release the metal tabs from holding it in. Sometimes this takes a few attempts. Be careful not to pry it out by sticking the tool too deep as you will break the camera. Using two tools works also. Pry close to top edge of body not deep down. Once its removed pry the metal fingers back up into place so they will be ready for reinstall of camera. Nice and straight! Then take screwdriver and lightly scratch off each contact/spring to get a fresh contact surface for the camera. Next lift each contact spring up so it will make good contact with camera when its reinstalled. This will give it more contact force and change contact location. Make sure they are straight and in line. Next take camera and using a pencil eraser, rub/clean the contacts on the bottom of the camera just like erasing writing on paper. Clean both socket and camera with cotton or foam swab lightly dampened with alcohol. Let dry and reinstall camera making sure the the alignment key on one side of camera is in correct position. Insert camera straight and level until you hear the clips lock in. Push down lightly then test. This works most of the time. Sometimes the camera is just bad so then try another camera. Try new or known working cables. Rarely has it been software or firmware. Hope this helps.
