I have successfully applied the simlock unlock patch, using setools2 lite.
With "bybpass 2020" selected, also main firmware in first box and unlock patch in "misc" box, setools bypasses security, flashes main file and then finally applies patch.
And it all works. I can use this 3 phone on Orange now. Great ;)

For future reference tho, I want to find out why the "quick access" method failed for me.
Again, applying the "quick access" vkp file with "bypass 2020" and main firmware file *succeeds*.
Patch is written and phone can start (but is still sim-locked).

After this, attempts to apply further patches with "use quick access patch" *fail*.
