unlocking k800 help please

hi i was wandering if there was a way to unlock a K800 that is tied to the '3' network i've tried XS ++ an that says,' Error: Cannot open phone communication port', and on SE tools it says 'cant load ID loader', what am i doing wrong, I have the SEMC flash driver and firmware to update to, it just wont work for me
