iam new and i have a dead w850i phone i took the phone to market it was working fine
and after the guy unlocked it .it was dead ,just white screen he said sorry and said there is nothing he can do.i was told if i can find the restore files i may be able to get it to work
..i do have setools..but do not know were to find the files.
please help

after following the above steps, start setool, select phone model, click the identify and post the information which is given in the left window of setool

The phone went dead coz he didn't have correct rest file. Just full flash the phone, it will be alive, but will be in previous state... I mean locked. Then you can unlock it again.

it's not dead, it's WSOD, there is nothing to do about the rest file, the best is to perform full flash with generic firmware

if it was working when u took it to be unlocked and they give it back like that i wouldnt leave till it was fixed i run my own shop never would give a set back like that :-( sounds like it has been tampered with or they really dont know what they are doing go back and tell them u have got in touch with tradeing standers and that they have 7 working days to put it right or eles

if you have unlock cable then you try se tool and by following tutorials, just try to give detailed information after you switch on phone, does it shows please wait screen, if so you hqave hope to reviveyour phone.

u have damged ur gdfs it will have to be test pointed or fixed with setool box or u can wright back the orgnal gdfs only way
