Aerix - free unlock A2 platform

Hi guys
I just wanna contribute this thread with my past experiences, since this unlocking matter almost made me desperate too (FYI : It took me a week to connect to the aerix's server, and I guess that's the main problem).

I don't blame the situation either, cos.. hey.. it's FREE
here's some situation that I've got during my retries :

I got those error messages over and over. I wonder what's wrong with that.. So, I began to change the server using the alternate one as mentioned in previous reply (server:221.195.40.209, port:9299) and it took me longer for the process, but still I got such error messages again. I tried it over and over for almost 6 consecutive days. In the end, I finally made it, and the whole processes are slightly fast.

I just wanna share my success story here :
1. Connect to the internet, Open your Aerix (of course you have to download this freeware after you created your account).

2. Wait until the welcome screean appears, then login with your account that locates in the top right corner of the aerix software (not login from the website).


3. Configure the settings using the default setting (fill your name & password, then use default server lock.polphone.com with port:9299). I suggest to wait for about 2-5 minutes, cos there won't be any changes nor notifications that inform that we're logged in.


4. Choose your phone model, then press unlock. Aerix will ask you to connect your phone. Just relax, don't take it rush
Turn Off your phone, then press & hold required buttons refered to your phone model.


5. You may release the button/s after a certain of time (while aerix communicate with server)


6. If you got error messages, don't worry.. You can always restart the process by detaching your cable and then press restart button your cable and repeat from previous step (no.4)

I managed to get this to unlock two C902 phones. Before, they took over a week to discharge the battery. Now the battery dies in 3 days. I've seen this reported on this forum.

Is there a fix for this?

I've sent Aerix a message. Has anyone else contacted them about this and got a reply?

are you connected with the net while performing this operation? you shouldbe online to able to do so as it is a server based unlocker

If your C510 is CID53, it won't work.

Hi, yes I was online when I did this and how do I know if its CID53 or not? my phone is a C510a. All this said, all I wanted is to be able to be able to play my ringtones freely :(
