Aerix - free unlock A2 platform

Hi,

I have the sony ericsson w595, and I am currently trying to unlock it using Aerix, I am on Orange, trying to unlock so the phone can take a t-mobile sim. After downloading the "Gordons gate flash driver" and installed, tried the program again and failed, consistently being shown this:

wondered if you guys could shine any light as to what "boot with ROM means", and what others actions i need to take.

After using the Aerix to unlock my w760, i notice my battery is draining a lot faster now. Is anyone else having similar problems? I reflashed it with the SE update and still the same problem, having to charge it every 2 days, with minimal use.

Same exact problem here. The phone is only one month old; I replaced the battery thinking it was a battery problem, but the problem starts after I used Aerix to unlock the phone.

I am getting the exact same message to the letter. did you get a reply?

my phone is from at&t. i successfully debranded it using the instructions at How to Debrand your USA ATT Sony Ericsson W760a | Sharky's Notebook - great instructions.

i actually noticed the battery goes a bit fast too but i use my media player and bluetooth... debranding the phone improves menu speed so i'm assuming that it's at the cost of battery life.

Sorry to post again but the problem with my phone is getting worse with time. Whereas before I was simply being shown an error sign when trying to unlock my phone, the phone does not even become recognised anymore by sony ericsson update programs, aerix and xs++. Additionally, the phone is not turning on, I am simply faced with a frozen screen and a phone that does not function. Can somebody please help me find a remedial for the problem because I have no phone!

sounds like u have damged ur sofata image on ur phone (posh word for gdfs) buy a log for d/ulitent unlocker this will fully reset it then unlock it then u need to fully reflash it with a2 uploader should solve ur problem

Thanks for your comment. Although you have taken the time to simplify the technological diction, it still doesn't mean anything to me. Is there any way you could provide some links so that I can navigate directly to the relevant programs and resolve this problem, as I know it is nobody else's problems but my own, but I have no means of communication until i resolve this problem.
