Aerix - free unlock A2 platform

im trying it with a w890i and its not working for me. im pressing 2 and 5 together when i connect it but nothing, and im also pressing C just incase but nothing either. anyone know what im doing wrong? thanks!

Have you installed SEMC flash drivers...? Install them then connect with AERIX

ok installed them and now seeing something on the AERIX but it says "you must boot via ROM" and its trying to boot by EROM on Aerix. Any idea what I do to get it to boot by ROM?

ignore me, i think i might have got it. need to buy a new sim now to see if its worked, the one I thought I had has been misplaced.

Just tried this A2 unlock software to unlock a C902. Failed on 2 computers after the first instruction. "Connect to computer via usb and press2-5". Nothing happens after that. The computer recognises that my phone is connected as I selected the phone mode straight after. I have registered and logged on before attempting to unlock the phone. The software device box doesn't show any phone or device connected.

The software device box doesn't show any phone or device connected.

1. The phone must be switched off when connecting it
2. You need Gordon's Gate Flash Driver installed on the computer (I recommend using Win XP)

I have successfully unlocked half a dozen w890is and a k660i using Aerix. Two problems I've experienced:

1. Aerix could not communicate with the server. It must have been down that whole day. When I tried it the next day it was working again.

2. When unlocking a w890i which was debranded after "Server communication..." follows "Phone restarts...", this is where the process froze. To fix it I disconnected the phone (leaving Aerix running), replaced the battery and connected it again while holding down 2 & 5, luckily the continued and the phone unlocked successfully.
