flashed k610i to w660 but walkman doesnt work

can anyone help me as ive flashed the phone and everything else works but when i try to use walkman it just hangs, any ideas? thanks J Allen

you don't have to type, just copy the whole code and paste it into a new notepad file and save it as ******.vkp, select the file type to all files, now start setool, click the misc... select the fvkp file and click on the write script.

If I remember, none of those patches above did work for me when I was trying to fix the walkman. I used a much larger patch. I'll go and look for it in my w660 folder on my computer...



EDIT: I found it! To fix your walkman, there's two things you'll need to do.

By the way, I have a K610 phone and not a V630... so apply this patch at your own risk.

The first thing you need to do is to apply this patch:

;Turn orange lights completely off
;Now Walkman works at K610@W660 even if the backlight is at 100%

Copy all the text above and paste it into a new wordpad or notepad file. Then click file > "Save as..." and change the option from ".txt" to "all files". Rename the file by removing the ".txt"-extension. Add the ".vkp"-extension instead. You should now be able to apply the patch to your phone. This is just the first step to fix your walkman. The second thing you need to do is to download this rar-archive.

Download it to your computer and extract all the files. You will find a file called "power_up_musicmode.ble". Put that file to your "tpa/preset/system/lighteffect" directory and turn on your phone. Your walkman should now be working.
