W810i Invalid SIM problem

Hi,

I bought a w810i from ebay a few months back that was locked to Orange. I flashed it, unbranded it and removed the SIM lock - all very simple

My son liked it so much that I bought another one for him as well. Tried all the above and I keep getting invalid SIM. >*<<*<* shows SIM lock opened and all set to 5.
I've flashed it about 12 times so far using different methods and keep getting the same result.

I've tried it with valid O2 and Vodafone SIMs but no different.

I then checked the phones IMEI and strangely that is different to the one written on the label.
I checked both IMEI's against AMTA and they are both unlocked.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss.

Thsnks for the reply but I don't think so.

I tried 3 SIMs that I know work and they were all invalid and 2 that are PUK'd and they come up as that.
I think the problem may be related to a mismatched IMEI but the SETools script looks exactly the same for the W810i that works and the one that doesn't.
