    sleep mode clock

    My girlfriend has a w550i and I really like how it has the ability to use something called a sleep mode clock. I have a w810i but it doesn't have this setting. I know i can see it when my phone screen goes black and then hit the volume up or down buttons on the side to see the time, but i was wondering if there was any way to get this turned on all the time just like what the sleep mode clock setting does.

    were is that setting for the w810i? i believe i have their newest firmware for it (R4EA031) and on the w550i it was in settings under display. Mine only has wallpaper, themes, startup screen, screen saver, and brightness.

    You can enable Sleep Mode Clock by edit "customize.xml" as following

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <customization>
    <mmi>
    <settings>
    <sleep-mode-clock>true</sleep-mode-clock>
    </settings>
    </mmi>
    </customization>

    To do that, you need to learn Far Manager first.

    that really didn't work. I tried it, and all that happened was after my scren went black, if i press on the volume up or down buttons like i said i use to before to see the time, the display of the clock has just changed a bit.
