Gap between slides

I just got a new W580i few weeks ago and realized over the weekend that there is a small gap at the bottom of the phone in between the top & bottom slides. It's kind loose and feel like the top cover is broken or something :(, does anyone has this kind of issue??

How much of a gap r we talkin about?

My w580i has a gap of about half a millimetre along the side.

Yes! Phone has always had a kind of wiggle to it wile it's open.

just checked my 580...i have it on mine too...i guess all of them are like that

Mine has a little movement (side to side) when it's fully extended. There shouldn't however be a large gap at either end. If the space on your phone is larger than the spacing *between* the two pieces (looking at it from the side) there's the possibility that it's a manufacturing issue or worse yet - counterfeit parts/copy.

When extended the phone should not flex or bend. It's ok if it shifts (side to side) a little. Be careful - if you force it too much it will pop right off of the rails. :(

every w580i i've seen has the same thing seen about 6 =D

I have a gap on my phone too.....it's normal, or else you won't be able to slide your phone.
