Half a result!

The phone comes up with the charging icon now and switches on - but only gives the option of viewing a demo - light at the end of the tunnel!

Where do we go from here buddy?

download a custom pack for it keep it in rar fourm add it to the mics file then press flash

Does it matter which custom pack I download? Quite a few on the site - Im in the UK and my W810i was on the Orange network before I git it unlocked

So do I download the custome pack for Orange - United Kingdom or Generic - Europe?

After this will my phone be just locked to Orange again? I need it unlocked.

Yo managed to get it to start and work!

Being a plonker I saved my numbers to my phone rather than my sim = small price to pay - many thanks my friend for helping me out
