Well, I am sorry but im pretty new at using forums and I have never tried to fix a cellphone before. I hope you have a little patience with me (and pardon my english).

As you pointed out I found something that sounds exactly like the problem I've been having in under trouble shooting in setool forum (which I didn't find before, sorry!)

Setool does not recognize the phone and a red light blinks when you try to connect to the PC or try to turn it on? It does not power ON?
This means EROM damage.
Solution: Flash ONLY Main part in recovery mode (2+5)

So this is what I tried to do but no luck so far.

The USB cable is working perfectly, the battery though is harder for me to say. I've been charging it but since the phone is dead and the only indication of life is the flashing red LED light that appears when I try to turn the phone on or connect it to my pc I don't know if it is charging.

I've found some other posts in other forums with the samt problem but other models suggesting a MAIN flash too so I will give this a try tomorrow. I'm really greatfull for your input and I hope you can aid me in my efforts (since I cant afford a new phone for about 8 weeks :)) And if I get to be to much of a pain in the ass, don't think twise about telling me to sod of :o
