What is so cool about Xenon flash?

whats the other kind of flash? And why is Xenon better? i know , this is more of a photography questions.

im sure if you compare that with the one on the w810 or whatever you understand the difference,
all i know for sure is xenon flash type is professional level, where "light" is like pre-historic, lol.

Yea .. i know that light sucks.. but i was trying to figure out what other kinds of flashes are there besides Xenon.

xenon flash is IMHO a nice marketing gag. The flash is too close to the lense so you are not able to make "professional pictures". But I like it to use my brothers mobile as "torch" ;)

K800i is like a camera foto with this Xenon Flash! For this reson I buy it.

Does the light actually drain the battery lots though? Well actually camera flash makes pcitures funny colour anyway, quite un-natural

there are some settings to make so the color may come out more natural. Xenon are brighter and thus cover more area unlike the LED ones.... thats why there is the flash attachment which works better than without...
