S500 camera doesn't work

You can extract original driver from FS.

What program do I need to do this ?

I've not the original camdriver0.dat... So my last solution is to try what you say ^^

I found the original camdriver0.dat for my w580i in the download section of TS.com, and... it doesn't work... :(

Hello!

I've managed to extract FS now. But none of the cam drivers i tried worked anyway. If anyone has the original FS for S500i please post it here so i can extract it and try that cam driver.

I've also noticed that when i change this:
cam_vf_sync=5; to for example cam_vf_sync=6; i only get a black screen on the cam.

When i change this:
cam_ss_sync=5; to for example cam_ss_sync=6; the cam works, and when i try to take a photo it takes much longer for it to return to the menu then before. It still dosen't work, but it kind of gets stuck for a while.

If anybody know what we should change in the cam driver to get it to work please post your ideas here!

Do you remember the original firmware or camera version? Try to find this version's driver.
Post the drivers your have try. But I just have k750's driver to compare.

No unfortunately i don't remember the original firmware because it's not my phone it's my friends. I have a gdfs backup from when it worked but i don't know if that may help.

The first two drivers(OmniVision 3.7) are same and not like original.
The third is empty and last one(OmniVision 3.6) is a little bit different with first two.

I found 3 dirvers, but not sure is for s500.
The diffrent between Original Camdriver and one with 35fps - myForum
The original dirver is sony 2.5
