Layout help

while bruteforcing to add some flash menus to my w550i the menu and layout files were deleted in the phone( dont know how) so the screen was completely unreadable

now i uploaded the new menu and layout files(w550) downloaded from topsony

everything works fine now but when i am in a call the call duration that is usually shown in the right hand bottom is missing, or it is stretched to the far end so i can see only one character

after the call ends the time is shown corectly, plz help

i uploaded the following layout files

try use SEUS, even if you have newest firmware

if it is not a huge problem try to reflash your phone, before that backup your settings and importiant things.

i sugest to next time use far menager, it is faster than bruteforcing by XS ;)

i cant use seus coz mine is a brown phone

i cant flash it myself coz i cant find any brown firmware

i cant use FAR too

is there anyone who can help me edit those .xml files to get the call timer at the correct position during calls

im curious, how did you upload that flash menu ?

Try changing

<sett name="YPos" value="254"/>

to

<sett name="YPos" value="62"/>

os something like that. because your phone screen height is only 220
don't really know, but it may help.

I use paint. Set image sizes to your screen resolution, and then it would be much easier to notice X and Y coordinates.

im curious, how did you upload that flash menu ?

i used phone xc v6 its a commandline app

place the flash files in the files_to_upload folder ie tpa\system..........( i hope u know or find out)

then run the program, it bruteforces the least time for me was 45mins and max was 4-5hrs

so XC works fine but XS or phone XS woun`t... strange :/

ha finally i found out the solution

i just deleted the three files other than layout.xml and now everythings fine

i get the time of the day at left side and the call timer on right side
