    red light when battery inserted

    hi guys, a friend of mine got K810 and was water logged accidentally, whenever a battery is inserted, a red light lights up and nothing happended, cannot connect to xs nor setool, no plug'n'play sound, is the erom dead or corrupt? does anyone know what is the main problem?

    sounds like the flash ic has blown is it a full constant red light untill u take the battry out

    it may buddie but then it maybe a burnt board as well call them were it just has a bad breake in it from being burt out some point on the pcb have u opened it up yet to check hardwere

    i have opened it but can't find which would be the main problem. will i be able to get the flash ic around india? coz i am from india. need your help

    it would be cheaper to buy a new pcb then a flash ic that is if it is that there is 2 it could be a number off other things on the pcb like signal box i allways bin them when they are that badly damged :( when u try it on se tool with a gd battry what err are u gwting when u hold the 2 and 5 button is it err 45 ?

    it never connect to xs nor setool, just a red light when battery inserted until i remove the battery from it, nothing more

    try it with a gd battry in it see what read out u get from se tool buddie

    i tried my battery too, but nothing works. i think i shoul reball the flash ic and see what's hapenning.

    dont think it would work as it has a full power surply running though the pcb that is why the red light staying on there is and burn somewere on it :(
