help retreaving contacts! please!

hello everyone i have a w880i wich is damaged and i dont know why it keeps saying insert sim but the problem is i need to retrieve my contacts from the phone as they were stored i the phone! i can get into the flash and the file system is there a file i can take out to get my contacts back? please if any one can help me id really appreciate it!

I would insert "the right" SIM card into the phone and then get all the contacts.

nope, there isn't a way to retrive your contacts from your phone since it is dead. btw what sim are you using? 128k?
