I just purchased an unlocked sony w580i phone and i'd like to know how to configure the internet and mms settings to work on a t mobile network

Go to sony ericsson official page and there you go under support.
There are all settings.

just phone t mobile and thay will send you a text and it will all be set for you

You have to select your actually provider and they send the settings via sms. Save it and enjoy.

just phone your service providers customer service and then demand(kidding) the setting. they will then send you a OTA(like a sms) and then just select save. it might need a password in order for it to be saved, the operator on the phone would have told you the password.

If you go to T-Mobile's website they have a wireless configuration for MMS and T-Zones. Surprisingly enough they support the w580i model. They actually support a large amount of Sony Ericsson models.

by saying actual provider what if my phone was inutually vodafone and after unlocking its tmobile so what do i put down?

but after writing your number down on the tmobile website, they never send you the message?!

u ask the operter from which sim card u are useing if the web site doesnt work phone cust services will send them stright though
