Is there a way to make all applications use the Wifi instead of the data network?

normally the phone will choose wi-fi above data
at least that's what my w995 does...

thats true. nevertheless you can go to application>option>internet settings or permission.

please read the manual for wifi help
i searched online but no result..
then make sure ur wifi settings(specially security measures) are same as on ur c905's wifi settings
