patch - code??

i'm a little bit confused. i that that SElite and xs++ are used to flash and patch phones, but i see some patches listed as raw codes. do these programs allow the codes to be inputted directly or is another program needed to convert the raw codes into a patch and then applied?

whit xs++ you can not patch your phone.you can use setool 2lite or far manager for patching your phone
