Debrand your phone. Use a generic CDA with a low CDA Revision. Or flash it, with MAIN + FS + CDA Custom.

where can i get att branded firmware?
The AT&T firmware is in the download area - in typical US cellular carrier fashion, all parts of it are carrier specific:
W760_R3CC005_MAIN_ATT_DE_RED52 <- Main firmware
W760_R3CC005_FS_CINGULAR_RED52 <- File system
W760a_1212-6828_R10A_ATT_USA <- Custpack
Also note that the AT&T/Cinguar phone is designated "W760a" - but I guess you already know this :)

I've debranded my w760 (AT&T) but need to re-brand it. Thanks to trimesh and his/her links above I believe I've downloaded the main firmware, file system and custpack but I don't know what to do w/ them. Can someone enlighten me please? Is it as easy as debranding was w/ A2 and SEUS? Thank you!

Hey guys, just wanted to bump this thread back up. Perhaps the OP could rename the subject to "Debranding/Rebranding w760i" since this topic really deals with both subjects.
Anyway I noticed there is a new firmware out for the w760i, it's R3EF001. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully plugged in their R3EA037 debranded phone into SEUS, does it automatically update to R3EF001 without any harm? I'm a little weary to try this out on my own first until I can find if other users have done this successfully. Thanks!
Sorry to ask again but has anybody successfully updated their w760i to R3EF001? Did you simply follow the instructions shown earlier in this thread? I'm almost ready to try it myself but just want to hear first from others that it's simple and safe to do.
how to change w580i to w760i
IF you even end up having to send it back to SE/Flextronics to have the phone repaired, they will gladly re-brand your phone for you.
I just went through the same scenario. Was quite a bit peev'd when I got my phone back, but was happy that it was working period. Good with the bad as they say! No I too am trying to make heads or tails of this debranding topic. Seems so simple but there's a couple of things in there (such as the customized xml's and type's of firmware) that I just don't get. The ppl explaining them just simply say "...just create a customized xml". HUH!
