K810i Fatality

How do I know if my flash IC is permanently damaged and needs replacing? I have a k810i which won't turn on as a result of failed flashing/patching. I have tried to re write the GDFS, replace the EROM and flash the main firmware for my phone to no avail. The phone constantly makes the connected/unconnected noise to my computer with varying intervals, re-flashing firmware/file system always encounters some some sort of error and xs++ frequently restarts my computer.
