    Unlocking K770i gone wrong

Apologies in advance, i've read every thread on the red53's and the far stuff, and generally unlocking goes ok for me, however seems i'm in a bit of a mess here.

    ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301
    PHONE IS RED RETAIL PRODUCT
    FLASH CID detected:53
    Speed:921600
    Flash ID check:2019
    Flash props sent ok
    OTP LOCKED:1 CID:51 PAF:1 IMEI:35617902669387 CERT:RED
    FLASH CID:53 COLOR:RED

    Model:K770i
    Brand:Vodafone
    MAPP CXC article: R8AC001 prg1201-7601_VODAFONE_VI
    MAPP CXC version: R8AC001
    Language Package:VFE_LIVE_2
    CDA article: 1203-0230
    CDA version: R5A
    Default article: 1201-7603
    Default version: R8AC001

    Network LOCKED
    Operator: 272-01

    Elapsed:47 secs.

That was the read out before i started, i had some issues with the executor.b file, and flashed the phone with an alternate firmware, however it will no longer power on :(.

I can still read the phone with Setool2 and far, but if i attempt to push the original firmware back on to it i get the error .

So i've a K770, that wont power on with the power button, and i cant seem to push the darn flash back on to it, unless i'm missing some thing else, ohhh and i do get the same error if i try to enter the ofs, and if i enter via bfs or bflash

    help ... :(

    Re: Unlocking K770i gone wrong

Quick update... Charged the battery, as i suspected it to be dead, and sure enough it was..

    Flashed with the following

    K770_R8AC001_MAIN_VODAFONE_VI_RED53.mbn
    K770_R8AC001_FS_VFE_LIVE_2_RED53.fbn
    K770i_1203-0230_R5A_Vodafone_Ireland.zip

However when i try to run the Executer in the games folder it tells me the operation failed,

Ok found the right pack, but the executer still fails, i can only assume this is due to the anycid is set up for R8BE001_1201-7587_GENERIC_VI

    Should i flash with a generic R8BE001 ?

    anybody ....

    Re: Unlocking K770i gone wrong

Well i'm a little further on.

    i've applied

    K770_R8BE001_FS_EUROPE_4_RED53.fbn
    K770_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_VI_RED53.mbn
    HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_13_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_4.zip

and the executer works and it shutdown the fone.

So my nxt step was to flash it with the rest file, but when i go in to bflash i get this in far

Apologies folks, figured it out, if you get the above error, you need to insert your sim :(

    fone unlocked :)

but what should i do now ? should i upgrade to another firmware maybe

And on the fone, it powers on, and says waiting for file transfer, then the usual msg, do not remove cable...blah blah

I've removed any sony s/w just in case ,but it hasnt helped ..

    any idea's ?

    @senter, there's no "executor" for K770_R8BC004

your phone's successfully unlock, if you push another firmware in it then you'll end up "Insert Correct Simcard", that means it will relock back again
