how to change supported language with A2 models?

I have put fonts, lng, t9 files, even changed allowed_language.txt and Customize.xml, the list of supported language is not changed (only display)
don't tell me to delete .lst and .dat files, they're not there
any other way to change with A2 models without flashing (TM506 doesn't have other versions, flash to Z780 will lose 3G support)

If nothing of this works , you can flash with A2-DB3150 Flashing .

    Have a nice day

this is much easier to be said than done
    currently TM506 only has 2 version (R3CA033, R3DA028), both are T-Mobile version
then flashing won't be solution, that's why I have to find alternative way to add language (not only display, but input and interface) without flashing
you should read my original post before saying that

    I just figured it out.

If you are using A2Uploader, do not take out the battery after editing allowed language, customize.xml.

Just unplug and start your phone without taking out the battery.

    This worked for me.
I used over 1 hour for this because I did always take out the battery after I made changes with A2Uplaoder.. It probably resette the changes I did about the languages.

Try this and give me a feedback of how it did work.

    Good Luck!

    Good Luck!
I even run factory reset (master reset) after applied the edited file
    no change
I extracted ALL the files from the phone, and still have no clue
but I found there's another language folder
    /tpa/system/language
should I put anything in there?

No, you should add them to tpa/preset/system/language

you will then need to delete the lng.lst and lng.dat files that are also in the tpa/preset/system/language directory. (the phone should rewrite these with the new languages when you restart it)

you will need to find and edit the allowed_language.txt to allow your desired languages.
eg. if you wanted to add english, you would start with a list of languages like "zs, zh," in the file, and you would just need to edit english in like so "zs, zh, en,"

    Follow the link tonywong41 entered.

    Hope this helps!
Remember that you DO NOT need to take out battery after made changes.
Simply unplug the cable and start the phone. You'll see the following message: Please Wait...

That indicate the phone is "updating" the files you've made changes to.

And again, I advice you to follow the link to the thread of changing languages!

Good luck my friend, let me know if this helps!

Try then to look around in tpa/preset and look for existing languages!
