Sony W580 screen not working

Alright recently my W580 screen has been flashing random colors and messing up the menu's (e.g. showing like two of the same menu except really small and stacked onto each other..) Recently it just hasn't shown anything and flashes a white screen like every couple seconds. Solutions?

not faulty lcd. replaced it a few months ago and it worked perfectly.

Same here m8 i replyaced few month back and gone agian no display!!

This sounds more like a firmware than a hardware problem try flashing your phone.

at both were they from ebay ?

Chances are that will fix it. anyway i can save my contacts before that?

And yes i did get this one off ebay.. it only needed a screen replacement and it has worked since august(ish)

i use to buy them for work but just had loads off plp fech them back after a few months better trying to buy a genwin ones (hard to get hold off though jap copys are more trouble than there worth )
