G705 Questions

Hi all. I haven't been on here for a while because of some family stuff, but I'm now back with a G705! So I got a few simple questions here.

1. Can I use the W580i charger or should I use the G705 (HK) charger? They should all be the same correct?

2. How long should I charge the battery for the first time? Is it still before where I should charge it for over 12 hours?

3. I currently have 50% battery left. Should I drain the battery first and re-charge for a few times, or should I just charge it now? If so, how long should I charge these couple of charges for? (relates to #2)

4. Are there any mods for the G705 yet?

5. Should I use the DCU-65 or DCU-60 that I got with the W580?

6. What headset does the G705 come with? Is it better or worse than the W580?

2. 5 hours is enough for the initial charging, CMIIW

3. You can charge it now if you want, no need to drain it first.

5. DCU 65 is the updated version of DCU 60, but no problem is you use the DCU 60

5. I can still mod my phone using the A2 Flasher thingy by using the DCU 65 cable right? I want to add the Citybeat and Everchanging theme back into my phone.


7. Are there any custom camdrivers available for the G705?

Update: I think my battery isn't good. Here's the problem:

I fully charged it using the North American charger for over 12 hours overnight. I used it today to listen to the radio, as well as listening to music and talked on the phone just a bit. When I came home, there was over 50% battery remaining and I haven't touched the phone till 5 minutes ago when I had to input a note. I check the status now and I have just 25% remaining. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

While I'm draining the battery again, it seems that the HPM 64 sounds better than the HPM 70. The HPM 64 seems to have more bass. Is this possible...? o.O

Im looking to get a G705, But am conserned about the GPS software, Can you tell me if there is a subcription charge for wayfinder, if so how much is it, Also can we load other GPS software onto the phone?

your battery volume drop very fast, i think is because of you are using the old firmware. you can try to update your firmware and see.
