Good day guys. I'm just new here and i need help in the lingo you're using. I want to flash my w580i walkman phone. Here's the result that i got from XS++:

    12:35:33| Baseband ID: 9900
    12:35:33| DB2020
    12:35:33| Protocol Version: 3.1
    12:35:33| Phone name detected!
    12:35:33|
    12:35:33| Profiling SEMC phone...
    12:35:33| Baseband ID: DB2020
    12:35:33| OTP CID: 51
    12:35:33| EROM CID: 53
    12:35:33| EROM Color: Red
    12:35:33| IMEI: 35683401xxxxxx
    12:35:33| Phone ID: W580
    12:35:33| Network: APAC
    12:35:33| CDA: CDA102568/101 R8A
    12:35:33| Firmware Version: R8BE001
    12:35:33| EROM: R3A022
    12:35:33| Ready for operation!

I know that the problem is my CID53 issue since i recently updated my walkman phone. I just dont know how to follow the instructions given by SEAMONKEY in his post "Patching CID53 (DB2020)&DB2010,2012" last 01-03-2009 since I can't understand some technical words like MAIN. Will appreciate any helpful response. Thanks and more powers!:)

    Re: Patching CID53 (DB2020)&DB2010,2012

Hi. I am new at all this, and just when i got the hang of XS++ and realized what I have to do, i found out that my K770i is DB2020/cid 53. So i can't work with XS++. About patching with FAR and JDFLASHER, can i use it just to unlock the phone code, without patching it? If you want more detail about my problem, read my other post here: Phone protection on K770i - Top Sony Forums
    Any suggestions accepted. Thanks!
