So I'm brand new to this phone unlocking malarkey. Therefore I am falling at this first hurdle. I have downloaded all it said in the "you will need" section.:
1. With your MAIN make rest files with mkrest2 (you find him in /Far/Plugins/jdflasher/rest/mkrest2)
a) What is my MAIN?
b) Where is/Far/Plugins/jdflasher/rest/mkrest2?
I'm trying to reset the phone lock code, 4-8 digits, on my SE K800i, with CID53. Any replies, or anyone who wants to add me on msn and help would be greatly appreciated!
Your MAIN is one of the 3 files you will need to upload to your phone. One is MAIN, one is FS and they both must be added in the oflash section of FAR, and then the next is the Cust files which give your phone its regional settings, and you upload the entire folder containing these files, called tpa, into the ofs section of FAR. To get to the mkrest2 program, go into your FAR file, then the plugins file, then the jdflasher file, then the rest file and then drop your MAIN file on top of the mkrest2 icon thats there. That will spit out a new file into that folder, which is your rest file.
Im still learning too, buddy, and half the time, all people do here is send you a link to another thread which youve already read and didnt work. Im still not there yet but Im getting there.
