Patching CID53 (DB2020) and any CID (DB2010,DB2012)

What does this mean please? How can I 'make rest files' with mkrest2?

I've managed to make the rest files now but where do I find qamaker? :confused:

I've looked in the setool2lite folder but can't see it. :(

All I get is AVG telling me setool2lite has the Trojan Horse Generic_c.YAB in it (which I gather from other posts is a mis-reported virus ... I hope)

AVG detect it as a Trojan, but, don't worry, it's not. Add it to exclusions.

I did everything up to step 8 correctly (I assume) using a CID53 K800 and installing:

K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED53
K800_R8BF003_FS_EUROPE_1_RED53

and when i go to run executor.b, i still get "insert sim card" or insert correct sim card". What am i doing wrong?

I just want to unlock the phone, i used SUES last year and have had a dead phone for a year now.

If you want to run "executor", you must start your phone. But you can't do this until you insert a valid SIM card.(from the provider which locked your phone).

heh... i tried to download it from a dosen diferent PC-s, even turned of my antivirus while downloading, and stil can not extract it...
