Need Help debranding my K770i CID53

Guys I have the same phone K770 with Virgin UK. I need to debrand it as well.
I have got the Main and the FS, and the custpack for the phone. But I am confused regarding the custpack. The files that I have are:-

K770_R8BC004_MAIN_GENERIC_VI_RED53
K770_R8BC004_FS_EUROPE_2_RED53

custpack
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_11_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_2
K770i_1202-3495_R8A_Virgin_United_Kingdom

Which custpack I should use the first or the second?

if your phone is CID53, the above files are perfect and for the custpack, use the first one "GENERIC_EUROPE_2"

hate to ressurect this thread but i need to get a custom flash menu working on a virgin mobile k770i. I know its got something to do with the customize.xml. I just hate that i cant read off the filesystem only write.

i did it guys! i got flash menus working on my phone without debranding it! i placed this customize_upgrade.xml file with code activating flash menus on it where the customize.xml file is kept in the filesystem (using far manager and jdflasher plugin and placing the file in the tpa/preset/custom directory ). The
possibilities are endless with the customize_upgrade.xml method. After getting flash menus working i debranded my phone by using a customize_upgrade.xml file to change the CDA number to an unbranded one, i then proceeded by using the sony erricson update tool and it flashed the phone to that unbranded firmware for me! Don't think it unlocked it though i still need help with that.
I also cant see whats on the damn phone either. I want to modify other things in the filesystem but i cant see them :(

hi i don't know if this is correct but please someone help me, I have already downloaded the following files. please let me know if this would work since im here in the apac and yet the region on my k770 is europe. I would like to have my sister's k770i to be generic again and to have no simlocks please. :(

thanks for the reply. I have successfully debranded my k770i but now I can't unlock it as i am having problem generating the rest files. whenever I run makerest2 I get wierd filenames. like pL@¢
