A month ago when I bought the W302 I had firmware 1207-2375_GENERIC_R1AB005\1207-7713 R7A021 replaced it with 1207-2375_GENERIC_R1AC004 \1207-7713 R7A021 via sony update program. The reason I upgraded is that sometimes although telephone provider signal is active incoming voice calls are diverted directly although divert always is deactivated !!. Very annoying so upgraded to newer firmware but got the same issues with this newer firmware.

If you still have warrenty for phone go to service - seems to me like some hardware issue

Are you sure you changed the firmware on a W302 with Sony Ericsson Update program? You must be mistaken as I contacted SE and they don't support the phone, nor do they have any plans to as its a Sagem manufactured Sony Ericcson branded phone, so I don't see how you could possibly have used their software to update the phone.
